Long Sleeve Fishing Shirts Vented Underarms

These yellow and White long-sleeve fishing shirts have an SPF 50 rating with a custom blend of polyester and spandex.  Unlike most inexpensive long-sleeve polyester shirts, these feature full-length, custom-sewn-in vented underarm panels that allow some air to flow in while you move. You combine the air with the moisture-wicking of the fabric, and you have a great shirt.

The Gray long sleeve shirts are the same as the mates wear and are truly next level in being cool! Some of the gray shirts are without a hood, but most are with hoods for added protection. 

I have been fishing for 40 years now, and one of the things we all need is serious sun protection. My crew fought me over them until they wore them for the first day, and they were hooked after that! 

Now they wear this type of shirt exclusively in the cockpit, as it keeps them from getting sunburnt and keeps them cool under pressure!

I have worn cotton shirts as a deckhand, and it usually takes 3-4 shirts to get me through a day.  At first,  I was surprised that the yellow and white ones were a little tight-fitting due to the nature of the material, but I got over that quickly. However, if you don’t like a tight-fitting shirt, order one size bigger, and you’ll be happy!

I am and always will be just a fisherman.  I couldn’t find the shirt I wanted, so I went and made my own in the yellow and white colors, and unfortyunaly I can no longer get them.  The gray ones are the best I have ever worn!
